hey guys it's Ellen here and originally I wasn't gonna make a tutorial for this song but the other day I was jamming along to it and I realized how incredibly easy it is to play so I thought I would do just kind of a quick rundown for you guys so one of the easiest ways you could play it is if you have your guitar in standard tuning and put your Capo on the fourth fret and if you do that you only need to know two chords which is our C major chord and our G major chord if you want to be fancy you could also throw in your D major chord alright and those are the only three chords you need to know to play the song and then it just repeats in c d g in that order for the entire thing and it all comes down to Counting so it's one two three four five six seven eight one two three four five six seven eight so on the last two counts you go to D and then G for two measures three four one two three the whole song I promise you follows that um progression so it's just C two three four five six seven eight one two four five six seven eight again all right and then for strumming I would just do something super simple like I was just doing all down strums all right um if you don't want to play the D you could just do c for two measures one two three four five six seven eight one two three four five six seven eight and G for two measures one two three four five six seven eight all right you can do the whole song like that um another strumming pattern could be maybe like a like a down up up down up down down up down up down up up down play around with strumming anything that you come up with as long as it's kind of like Jammy or upbeat I think would match really well with this song and then the last thing is even that little like Melody line that you hear throughout the song it's so easy all you want to do is put your c chord on and you're just gonna take your pick and go back and forth between that a and that D string so you're gonna pick down on a and up on D and just go back and forth like that just like that c and then you would go to your G chord again you could just hold down your G chord on your left hand and then now you want to go back and forth again between your low E and your a string so again down pick on E up pick on a and then again back and forth for two measures all right if you wanted to be fancy you could also on that first chord with your C two three four and then on the last two picks you could take off your ring or your middle finger and that's a little bit more accurate to the song so the whole thing would be like this you do that for the whole song So if you wanted to strum then you could do that you could also just pick through the whole song If you have a friend who also plays guitar one of you guys could pick one of you guys could strum I just think it's like super fun to jam to so if you want to jam along to the original song I'll make sure to link it right here um and then just kind of play around with it I think it's a lot of fun super easy to play and I'm just kind of in between filming other stuff and I was like you know what I'll throw this tutorial in here really quick too because it's so simple and I hope you guys enjoy it and have fun happy practicing thanks for watching bye
