hey everyone so I recently put my Jump Then Fall cover um by Taylor Swift on YouTube and a lot of you guys really liked it and asked me to do a tutorial it was requested like a ton so um I figured since I've never done a tutorial for Taylor slift song before I guess this will be my first and before we start just keep in mind that this is the way I played it so I'm sorry if the chords sound wrong to you or if the strumming pattern is wrong but you know you can always mess around with it and find what works best for you so um yeah this is how I played it and I hope this helps you guys okay so as always I'm going to start you off by showing you guys the chords um there's only five and they're pretty basic so hopefully we can get through this pretty fast and I think a lot of you will already know these chords so we'll just quickly go over them you need to know D which looks like this and then you need to know a then you got your G chord and then you'll need E minor and the last one you need to know is C so hopefully you guys already know most of this chords and if not then you can go ahead and pause the video and like practice them and then when you're ready to continue I will show you the strumming pattern that I used okay so for the strumming pattern that I used in my video um I'm not really sure how to explain it I just I just kind of played whatever came to mind but um I'll go ahead and show that to you guys so that you can kind of get the hang of it um I just started the basic part out by going like this okay so there's also that little part in the beginning where you hear hear the melody that goes like you know that part and so um I'm going to go ahead and teach you how to play that really quick in case you want to add it to your video um it's very simple you just play on your top E string the littlest one it's just open and then second fret so and then thir fret on the other on the next string down so and then the other part goes so yeah um hopefully you guys can get that down too okay so hopefully you guys all have a pretty good feel for the song now so let's go ahead and put the chords and the strumming together and play Jump Them Fall by Taylor Swift oh and I'm going to go a little bit slower than the real song just so that if any of you guys are beginners you can follow along too so yeah let's go I like the way you stop in the morning we're on the phone and without a warning I realize and laugh is the best down I have ever heard I like the way I can't keep my focus I watch you talk and you didn't notice I hear the words but all I can think is we should be together every time you smile I smile and every time you shine I'll shine for you w feeling you baby don't be afraid to Jump Then for all Jump Then Fall to me baby I'm never going to leave you say that you want to be with me too I'm MC through it all jum Then Fall well I like the way your hair Falls in your face you got the keys to me I love each Freckle on your face oh I've never been so wrapped up honey I like the way everything I ever wanted I had time to think it all over all I can say is come closer take a deep breath and jump and fall in to we every time you SM I and every time you shine I'll shine for you w feeling you baby don't be afraid to jump and fall all Jump Then Fall Into Me bab I'm never going to leave you say that you want to be with me too I'm stay through it all so jump and fall but's going to drop out from under our feet I'll catch you I'll catch you when people say things that bring you to your knees I'll catch you the time is going to come when you're so mad you could cry I hold you through the night until you smile W need you baby don't be afraid please Jump Then Fall Jump Then Fall Into Me bab bad never going to leave you say that you want to be with me too without stay through it all so Jump Then Fall Jump Then Fall oh baby jum and fall it's me into me and every time you smile I smile and every time you shine I shine and every time you're here baby I'll show you I show you you can Jump Then Fall Jump Then for all Jump Then Fall all into yeah all right so that was jump and fall by Taylor Swift I hope this tutorial helped you guys a little bit and um if you guys make a video and put it on YouTube then definitely send it to me because I'd love to watch so um yeah thanks for watching and I hope this helped bye
