hi my name is Ellen and today I'm going to be showing you guys how to play Love You Like a Love Song by Selena Gomez off of her new album when the Sun goes down I'm really excited about that one um I'll go ahead and start off by telling you guys you don't need a c for this song so yay um also there's only six chords in the whole song but even though there's only six they are kind of tricky most of them are B chords and I know that that can be kind of hard for some of the people out there who are beginners so um but I'm sure if you practice you'll get this down so you'll be fine um so yeah here are the six chords you'll need to know all right so I'm going to show you guys the six chords you'll need to know for this song the first one is C minor which looks like this and sounds like this you're going to want to make sure that your first finger that's pressing down on all the strings is actually pressing down on all the strings that way you get a good clear sound the next chord is a which looks like this and sounds like this and you'll notice that I've put an X over the top string um that's because you don't have to play it so make sure you don't strum that when you're doing this chord the next chord is B which looks like this and sounds like this as you can tell I kind of have trouble with that chord too so um the next one is gsh which looks a lot like C minor but you're going to take these three fingers and move them all up one string and that'll be G sharp and it looks like this and sounds like this all right and the last two chord you'll need to know are fshp minor which look like this which looks like this and sounds like this and then the very last chord is e which looks like this and sounds like this all right so go ahead and practice those chords um I even have a lot of trouble playing the Barb ones so it can take a while sometimes but I have confidence in you guys so go ahead and practice those chords and when you think you have all six down go ahead and press play and I'll show you the strumming pattern all right I'm going to go ahead and show you guys um a strumming pattern that you can use but like I always say you can feel free to just mess around and figure out your own strumming pattern um but this is the one that I would recommend it goes down down up up down up down down up up down I think it sounds pretty good with the song The Rhythm and everything so once again that's down down up up down up down down up up down up so together with the words and uh the chord switching it would sound like this it's thought been already and I guess right now another one so um go ahead and practice that strumming pattern or feel free of course to um figure out your own and when you have it I'll come back and show you guys the chords to put together with the strumming pattern so we can sing the whole song all right so hopefully you have your struming patterns and your cords all down I'm going to go ahead and take us through the entire song and we can play and sing it together so good luck This is Love You Like a Love Song by Selena Gomez it's every beautiful thought's been already s and again right now here's another one so your Melody will play on on with the best of all you are beautiful like a dream incredible a CER the miracle mirac save my life and I want you to know baby I love you like a love song baby and I keep it I love you like a love song baby I love you like a love song baby and I constantly or you play through my mind like a symphony there's no way to descri what you do to me you just do to me what you do and it feels like I've been resued I've been set free I am hypnotized by your destiny you are magical lcal beautiful you are and I want you to know baby I love you like a love song baby and you I love you like a love song baby I love you like a love song baby and P no one can pause you stand alone to every record I own mus to my heart that's what you are a song that goes on and on oh I love you like a love song baby and I I love you like a love song baby I love you like a love song baby I love you love s all right sorry this tutorial was a little rough around the edges but it really hurts my thumb to play this song I probably am just barring my chord dra plus the audio just came out so I haven't had much time to listen to it a lot so but um anyway I hope this tutorial helped you and I hope that if you decide to do a cover of it you'll send it to me because I love to watch people sing their heart sounds so um thanks for watching my tutorial and um make sure you subscribe if you ever want to watch more tutorials and always I'm always open to requests and um yeah that's it thanks for watching bye
