hey everyone my name is ellen and i wanted to do a really quick tutorial today because i was playing roses by saint john the iman beck reeve mix version and i thought it was super fun and so easy that i wanted to kind of just share it with you guys really quick so basically you just need to know four chords and one strumming pattern and you can play through the whole song so let's go ahead and jump into it alright guys so i've zoomed in and like i said you only need to know four chords to play through this whole song make sure your capo is on the first fret if you want to do it in the original key but the first chord you need to know is e minor which looks like this and sounds like this after that we've got a minor which looks like this and sounds like this then we have a g which looks like this and sounds like this and then the last chord you need to know is our b chord which looks like this and sounds like this and those are the only chords for this entire song all right so after you have those chords memorized you just have to do this one strumming pattern which is just down mute and you're going to do this one time for each chord so on e minor we've got down down mute then we've got a minor down mute then we've got g down down mute and then b down down mute and that is the whole thing it literally works through the entire song exactly in that order so you go e minor a minor game d repeat and it works for the whole song like i said so super super simple i'm not going to do a playthrough today just because you guys know i don't do inappropriate language on my channel but if you do want to kind of see me play through it with the actual song itself you can always follow me on my tick tock where i go through really short like one minute tutorials just like this one so check that out if you're interested but i just kind of wanted to do this little bonus video so i hope it helped you and i hope you have fun playing this really catchy song and i will see you in my next video bye
